San Andres

The Galician country house "San Andres" is built in the XVIII century and was already before renovation a few years ago in a remarkably good condition. The 200-year-old and 70 cm thick granite walls were very well preserved, and the chestnut wood beams could be preserved. The builder of the house has chosen as the location of the flat a rock on a ridge with great views into the valley of the River Sil. The house is still protected during storms and severe weather. Hundreds of years ago was "San Andres" a station of the monks on their way into the valley to the source "Aguas Blancas". Til this day, this location has its spiritual power. The house in Galicia was built up with great attention to detail and carefully restored. Although we preserved the original style, we also managed to create an atmosphere of comfort and convenience. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each with private toilet and bath, a modern Italian kitchen with large dining table for up to 10 people, a large lounge with 2 sofas and TV and a gallery. In the floor plan we put value on space and place. The terrace is very large and is in the warm season, our "dining room", under the vine leaves you can enjoy the meal or the evening with a splendid view of the valley's .

In the courtyard there is a summer kitchen with gas burners and a charcoal grill, you can prepare hearty meat and fish dishes. Therefore you are able to avoid a bad smell in the house.

The garden has a lawn for sunbathing and games.
